I had worked with Grant on an issue campaign years before he decided to run for U.S. Congress - and was delighted to partner with him to create the logo and visual identity for his campaign. We organized a photo shoot that highlighted his military experience, connection to rural Ohio audiences through work on his own farm, and role as a dedicated father (to an adorable little boy, no less). I used these images and created narrative copy that told his story while creating his website.
